Comments : All smooth.. My wife is here and just a heads up, you have to wait 10 days before you can apply for a Social Security Card when entry and then wait up to 2 weeks to get the actual social security card, but still not legal to work. Add her on a utility bill to get Bank Account and MA State ID.

Comments : Married 8/25/10. Applied for AOS soon after. Got a notice of a Transfer of application from Chicago to California to expedite processing on 11/1/2010.

Major goof up from USCIS they entered in the wrong application/identificiation number and our appliation got lost in limbo. Was not discovered until 3/2011 after we had been waiting for too long of a time. We went in and did our interviews - which the process was simple and easy if you just be yourself and act friendly. Conversate, be sociable and smile. The interview said it was the best interview she ever had after we were done. It took only 15 minutes or so. We were approved after that.

Comments : I don't have exact dates. We applied for the I-751 and we got a letter back to request more proof validating the marriage. Sheeesh, just come to the house and see the mess she makes! :) haaaha! - Well I went all out, had a legal Will & Testament, Proxy Health, etc. some more friend affidavits, and resent the application back in October 2013. Nothing since then.... wait wait wait...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
