Comments : Interview:

We had an interview at 9:30 A.M. on December 14th 2010.

Everything went PERFECT!!

We stayed at the Econolodge a few blocks away. Besides the horrible snow and cold as well as the lack of parking, Montreal was very nice.

We arrived at the consulate at about 9 A.M. and was let right in. We were screen for security but were prepared for this. We had nothing but gloves, coats, and paperwork. They scanned us and let us in. We went up to the 19th floor and waited in line 14b to get a number. When our number was called we went back to window 11 and talked to a very nice lady who told us to go pay the visa fee at window 14b. Then we were called back to window 10 where a man collected our paperwork, was very nice and we sat back down in the waiting room. About 20 minutes later we were called into booth 9 for the interview.

The interview lasted about 5 minutes, a few questions about where we work, when we met and boom, we were approved. I almost felt screwed because of all the work we did it only took a few minutes...I was like, can't we have more questions or something :)...make it worth the long wait.

Anyways, everything went perfect, everyone was very nice and helped with anything we needed. The whole experience lasted about 2 hours in and out.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
