Member Reviews:

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 28, 2010
Embassy Review : Process went through smoothly, Line was short for K filers; CO only asked 4 question on interview; 1. When is your Birthday? 2. How did you and your fiance meet? 3. Do you intend to marry your fiance within 90 days? 4. What is your Fiance's work? Though Pre-Screener at the window/boot asked more questions, than the CO. Otherwise; everything was smooth. Oh, be careful of the fixer outside the Embassy; they'll try to milk you with false information and charge you with $$$. They'll say anything like for instance CP (which ofcourse is not allowed in side) and Flash drive, or anything electronic etc are not allowed; they'll charge you 100- 200 pesos that they'll watch your things; they'll also say that you need this such and such forms and charge you with soo much $$$ for printing and PC rental...
Just stick to VJ guidelines and Embassy Guidelines and you'll be fine don't let any one intimidate you; process is easy and smooth, CO's are nice and accommodating; Just relax
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
