Event Description

Embassy Review : Well, we had a K-3 visa interview at the Embassy in Jamaica yesterday and they really hassled us. Told us to come back today for 2nd interview- which was really a heavy investigation. At this time, they put my wife in a sealed room and grilled her for over 1 1/2 hours, then me for 1/2 hour. Then they said they will make a report in a couple of days and the visa unit will \"contact\" us. So, what\'s the problem , you ask. They don\'t tell us, but we do have a big age difference, and they had questions about when we met. But, on the other hand, we have extensive trips together, phone calls, Western Union, photos, etc. There was no real reason for this type of treatment. Now, we are stuck in a hotel paying every day, and no idea when or what they will do.... So much for approved K-3 visas !!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
