Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 17, 2009
Embassy Review : Well we arrived at 9:10and they took us right in with out any problems. We got our number A143 they calle dus to the window in about 5 mins. spoke to us reviewed our papers sent us down to window 17 for my fiance to get finger printed all was smooth at this point we finished the finger prints and went back to the previous window which the young lady asked us to have a seat about 2 minutes later the gentleman called us to the window and ask how we met and where we met has my fiance met my parents to I mind that he has a child from a prior relationship and then said fto my fiance that he wanted to see his letter of employement from when he was in the stateswe did not have that information on us because they asked only for my employment letters and we provided them, so to make a long story short the gentleman at the window gave us a blue slip and told us to make a blue slip appointment(and I do not have to be there) once we have the documents, needless to say we came home have the documents called the number 13 US dollars to get a pin and now we have to wait again til December 10th for the approval.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
