Still holding my breath! Should just get her through Mexico! hahahah No, I am a legal kind of guy.
Received RFE about much the same stuff that was requested in the first filing! But i will do my best to give them what they want.
Just sent out the RFE for them to peruse. Added about 3 times the information that I did on the I-129F that i first sent in. Hopefully that gives them the proof they need of when we met and when I flew back again.
Good luck. We also sent our application in on May 20, 2022. Still no NOA2 for us yet. Frustrating
They did send me a notice that they were working on it now, after I sent the RFE back in, but no idea what will happen and when. So most likely, Scottwales00, they are working on yours. No RFE is good, so no news is good news. I'll let you all know as soon we get the NOA2.
Oh great, thank you. Looking at others' timelines here, USCIS has been pretty consistently responding to RFEs Replies in about a month
Scottwales00 It took them less than 3 days to tell me that they had received my RFE that I returned. So hoping something will happen soon.
So we got the adoption done and it took 2 months for a BC here in Idaho. Tried to get a passport for daughter I adopted, but they said she was too old and had to be here for 2 years. Tried to get her SSAN, but she had to be present to get it, and because of the delay of getting a copy of her BC, because the 1st one was with the passport people, we waited for another month ++ to get a copy of her BC, she was already back in school. And also her green card appointment took forever, so she couldn't get that. We had to send her back home on her Philippine passport, so she could finish her High school with her batch mates in her very nice high school that isn't rowdy like our schools are here in Idaho. She's happy to be back in the RP amongst her childhood school friends. BUT,, I guess we will have to fly to the RP and set and appointment to get he SSAN and passport. Wasted time and money. She is 17 now as of Dec 30, so I am now trying to figure how to fly to Manila, meet with the people at the embassy and get her PP and SSAN. Don't even know if I can. Nobody can tell us anything, just fill out forms and hope we did it the right way. No real person to talk to. Any ideas?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
