Comments : Well it was a 6 hr drive form where we live. We arrived on time of course about 40 minutes early we were called in 5 min. after our interview time. The interviewer was not the smiley type at all or so we thought. He swore us in. Asked for our IDs and my passport. He took my I-94 out of the passport. He asked me my bday and my husband his own. He asked my husband when we met and how long we were 2gether b4 getting married. He asked my husband why he decided to marry me. He asked for evidence of out lives together so I whipped out a huge chunk of proof. Then he asked me the NO NO NO questions. Afterwards he asked if I ever attended school since I was here on a F1 visa. So I told him I went to school for 2yrs and after I met my husband when we got pregnant the doctor put me on bed rest and I was not able to return to school after that. Then he asked my husband his proffesion and asked for our 2006 tax return luckily we had it. I was a nervous wreck the whole time. He then said the majic words "YOUR CASE IS APPROVED" you will be getting a 10 yrs PR card. So then my husband broke the ice by asking him about a famous street in Memphis I have no clue what they were talking about I was in my own world by that time. Oh yeah I then asked him if it was possible for him to have my card sent with my sir-name/married name and he was more than happy to take care of it. He said I would have my card in the mail in 7-10 days. WOW after all I went thru I cannot believe this was it. Well he did not say anything about a FBI check so I suppose Im out of the wood works. Im crossing my fingers hoping the card comes with my name in correct spelling. Thank you all for moral and mental support. One love

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
