Port of Entry : Dallas
POE Date : 2009-11-19
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : The officer wanted to know how to pronounce her patronymic and that was it other than the photo and finger scan. There was a little bit of a delay due to a computer problem but this was explained to us and lasted maybe 10 or 15 minutes. We were so tired from the journey that it was not unpleasant just to sit and relax a little while we waited.

Consulate Review: Ukraine
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 16, 2010
Embassy Review : Was pretty much a ditto of all of the other reviews I've read about the Kyiv consulate--quick and painless. We were scared slightly when the person that initially took Lena's and her daugther's documents noticed and pointed out to us that the doctor whom had done the medical exams had checked an incorrect box on her daugther's form and had then scratched thru that and checked the correct box. She said the officer who would do the interview might possibly refuse to accept the exam report due to that and that her daugther would then have to redo the medical exam. Luckily this didn't happen, so all turned out well.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Dallas
Event Description
Entry Date : 2009-11-19
Embassy Review : This was completely painless, much easier and quicker than alot of the tasks a US citizen must do, renewing a drivers license for example.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
