Comments : the immigration officer is a black guy. i got surprise that he can speak tagalog. he asked me SAAN KA PUNTA? and i asked him, why he knows how to speak tagalog and he said SECRET. hmmm.he asked me also when is the lucky day ( meaning wedding ). he took my fingerprint and took picture through the computer and stamped my passport and i-94. and he said everything is ok. so i think everything was ok. he gave back my passport and my i-94 to me. and after finished all, he said to me SALAMAT.. i said salamat too.

BUT......the immigration officer did not take my sealed envelope and did not stapled it to my passport.he stamped my passport and the i-94 but he put wrong date about my length of stay in the usa. me and my fiance, went to oklahoma city US custom border protection for them to change the date and stapled it in my passport.we also went to the uscis to submit the sealed envelope.

i will rate it--- VERY VERY POOR..

because the immigration officer dont know his job.dont know what to do about the k1 process at the port of entry. all messed up.

Comments : OUR APPOINTMENT WAS 12:15 IN THE AFTERNOON. WE ARRIVE THERE JUST IN TIME.. AROUND 12:00 NOON. WE LEAVE OUR CELPHONES IN THE CAR. THE GUARD CHECK OUR APPOINTMENT LETTER, AND ASKED TO SHOW OUR I.D. AND THEN HE X-RAY OUR THINGS.
WE GO TO DOOR NUMBER 2. WE DROP THE APPOINTMENT LETTER INTO THE BOX THERE INSIDE THE WINDOW AND WE SEATED UNTIL WE GET CALLED. EXACTLY 12:15 , MY NAME WAS CALLED.
ME AND MY HUSBAND FOLLOWED OUR INTERVIEWER TO A ROOM. HER NAME IS HEATHER.SERIOUS BUT NICE AND PROFESSIONAL.
SHE TOLD US TO STAND UP AND RAISE OUR RIGHT HAND TO SWEAR TO TELL THE TRUTH.
AND THEN WE SEATED. WE ARE SO NERVOUS..THINKING WHAT SHE WILL ASK.

SHE ASKED MY PASSPORT, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, EAD CARD AND DRIVERS LICENSE IF I HAVE. SHE ASKED ALSO MY HUSBAND DRIVER'S LICENSE

SHE LOOKED AT ALL OUR PAPERS THAT WE SENT IN OUR PROCESS IN K-1 VISA AND IN AOS PROCESS.THEN,SHE START TO ASKED ME.
1. SHE ASKED IF MY NAME IS THE SAME AS APPEARED IN THE PAPERS.
2. IF MY BIRTHDAY IS THE SAME AS APPEARED IN THE PAPERS.

11. SHE ASKED WHAT IS OUR WORK SCHEDULE

NEXT,,SHE ASKED ME LOTS OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE I-485 FORM.. I THINK ABOUT 10 QUESTIONS FROM THERE, WITH THE ANSWERABLE YES OR NO.
THE PART THERE IN FORM SAYS=====
PROCESSING INFORMATION.

AFTER THAT, SHE ASKED IF WE HAVE SOME PROOFS OF OUR RELATIONSHIP AS HUSBAND AND WIFE such as JOINT ACCOUNT, UTILITY BILLS, INSURANCE, LEASE AGREEMENT OR SOME PICTURES TOGETHER ETC..
I GIVE TO HER ALL THE PROOFS AND AN ALBUM WITH SOME OF OUR PICTURES HERE IN USA. ESPECIALLY OUR WEDDING PICTURES. SHE LOOKED ALL THE PICTURES, AND ALSO THE PROOFS..

10. SHE ASKED ME IF IM EXPECTING? BECAUSE I PRINT THE ULTRASOUND OF OUR BABY.

13. AND IF WE ARE EXCITED?
14. WHO WILL TAKE CARE THE BABY AFTER BORN?
15. AM I GONNA QUIT MY JOB TO WATCH OUR BABY?
16. AM I GONNA TEACH OUR BABY MY LANGUAGE?

AFTER THAT, SHE TELL STORY ABOUT HER KID. SHE SAID, NO ENOUGH SLEEP, AND NEED TO FOCUS TO THE BABY, AND BUDGET THE TIME BETWEEN THE BABY AND WORK.

AFTER THAT, SHE ASKED TO ME IF SHE CAN HAVE ALL THE PROOFS. I SAID YES, I HAVE THE ORIGINALS TO ALL OF THAT. SO SHE TOOK ALL OF THE PROOFS.
SHE GIVE BACK MY SOCIAL SECURITY CARD AND PASSPORT, AND MY HUSBAND DRIVER'S LICENSE.

AND..SHE SAID,GO TO THE WINDOW 4 AND YOUR PASSPORT WILL BE STAMPED. ITS A PERMANENT RESIDENT STAMP,WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR GREEN CARD.SHE SAID YOU WAIT TILL 2 MONTHS TO RECEIVE IT.SHE SAID, ILL KEEP YOUR EAD CARD AND I-94. DONT WORRY, IT WILL BE FINE IN MY HANDS. AND SHE CUT THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF MY EAD CARD INTO A PIECE LIKE 1/2 INCH DIAGONALLY.

16. SHE ASKED IF WE HAVE ANY QUESTION?

I SAID NO..
AND I NOTICED A PICTURE AT HER WALL, CHINESE KID..I ASKED IF THATS HER CHILD.. SHE SAID, YES. SHE IS CHINESE. I SAID, THATS WHAT IM THINKING. SHE SHOWED TO ME THE PICTURE OF HER KID IN THE PICTURE FRAME, SHE SAID SHES 4 YEARS OLD. AND ME AND MY HUSBAND SAID PRETTY KID.

AND THATS THE END OF OUR CONVERSATION.

THEN SHE SAID. OK GOODLUCK. HAVE A GOOD DAY.

OUR INTERVIEW TOOK 15 MINUTES...

WE WENT TO THE WINDOW 4 TO GIVE MY PASSPORT THERE AND PUT STAMPED IN IT.
TOOK US 40 MINUTES WAITING FOR IT. AND I GOT SURPRISE, THE GUY TALKS TAGALOG TO ME.HE ASKED ME WHERE I AM FROM IN THE PHILIPPINES, AND WHY MY VISA IS FROM TAIPEI? AND I ASKED IF HE IS FILIPINO? HE SAID YES, I SAID YOU ARE LOOKS LIKE CHINESE TO ME. AND HE SAID, HE IS HALF. HE SHOWED TO ME HIS NAME IN HIS I.D. AND HE SAID, I WONT WAIT TOO LONG, JUST BE SEATED.. AND I WILL CALL YOUR NAME AFTER ITS FINISHED..

SO, THATS IT.. ITS A VERY VERY VERY GOOD RATING.... 5 STAR... THEY ARE ALL NICE.... VERY VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

i received my green card 1 week after the interview...

Consulate Review: Taipei, Taiwan
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 14, 2010
Embassy Review : my visa interview appointment is 7:30 am. i arrived at the AIT around 7:10, i thought the guard will gonna allow me to go inside.but he let me fall in line with the people also there in line in right side, which is for immigrant visa. the guard let us all enter exactly 7:30 am.they x-ray all the things we bring and then after that we went to 3rd floor.we waited there again, until around 8:00am.then we fall in line in window 4. i gave my passport,2x2 pictures and appointment letter to the lady in the window. she is a little mean to me.she asked me how long ive been working here in taiwan. and she asked me also why taiwan needs me in that company, when im about to answer she even interrupt me and didnt let me finish to answer.she just said, put your pictures here inside of the ziplock.then after that, im still standing there, then when she noticed me, she said.have a seat then we will call your name-like in bad attitude. i just smile at her, even if i know that she is little rude to me.
i waited maybe 1 hour and 20 minutes. and called my name from window 1. the lady is nice.she get my medical result,my birth certificate, my police certificates and the evidence of support from my fiance. then she asked a few questions to me.WHATS THE NAME OF MY FIANCE, HOW DID WE MEET, WHERE HE LIVES NOW, WHATS HIS JOB, WHATS MY JOB, WHERE IN TAIWAN I AM WORKING AND WHAT COMPANY, AND WHAT I AM DOING IN MY JOB, HOW LONG IVE BEEN WORKING IN TAIWAN, HOW MANY TIMES ME AND MY FIANCE MET, WHERE DID WE MEET IN PERSON, WHEN DID WE MET, SHE ASKED IF ITS MY FIRST TIME TO GO THE AIT, HOW MANY TIMES WE FILED THE PETITION, IS IT SAME PERSON OR DIFFERENT, AND WHY DID WE CANCEL THE FIRST PETITION, HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE, DID MY FIANCE CALL ME LAST NIGHT OR BEFORE I GO TO THE AIT. so, while she asking that questions, some of it, she write it down in a paper, after that. she did finger printing. and also she gave to me the ds 156 to sign it and the ds 156k i sign it also and write the full name of my fiance. after that, she said she will give the documents to the lady who will conduct final interview to me. then i wait again, maybe 10 minutes. then when i saw its an american girl, i said to myself. ohh. american. then my heart beats fast, hahaahaha. american girl from window 5 called my name. then i raised my right hand and i solemnly swear to say the truth. she get my fingerprint of my middle finger in my left hand. and she gave a piece of paper to me and let me sign there, she compared my signature in the form if its the same. and after that, she asked qUEStions. ( im nervous that time) wooahh!!
HOW LONG YOU HAVE KNOWN DOUGLAS, (she is mention my fiance's name), WHERE DID WE MEET, WHERE HE LIVES NOW, WHATS HIS MOTHERS NAME, WHERE HIS MOM LIVES NOW, WHATS MY FIANCE JOB, WHAT HE IS DOING IN HIS JOB, IS HE LIVING ALONE OR TOGETHER WITH HIS FAMILY, HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN WORKING HERE IN TAIWAN, WHATS MY WORK, WHAT IM DOING IN MY JOB, SHE LET ME EXPLAINS WHAT IS MY JOB, WHATS MY COMPANY AND THE PRODUCT WE DO IN THE COMPANY,HOW MANY TIMES DID WE MEET, WHEN DID WE MEET, WHERE IS HE THAT TIME, WHERE I AM THAT TIME, HOW DID WE MEET, WHEN IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I MET HIM IN PERSON, AND WHEN IS THE SECOND TIME, WHERE WILL I LIVE WHEN I ARRIVE IN THE USA, WHEN I WILL PLAN TO GO TO THE USA, WHAT WILL I DO THERE AFTER I ARRIVE, AM I GOING TO QUIT MY JOB, DID MY BOSS ALREADY KNOWS ABOUT IT, DOES MY FIANCE HAS A CAR, WHAT KIND OF CAR IT IS. the lady is nice and always have a big smile. so when you are infront of her, you wont feel nervous because she is pretty and has big smile at you. also some of the questions the lady asked from window 1,are the same as the questions in lady from window 5 asked to me.after that, girl called me from window 8, she gave me the receipt for the courier, and i went to the first floor, i fill up the receipt form and gave it to the courier area there. then thats it. i finished around 10:30am. and also, i bring lots of stuff that day, two photo albums, one folder for the proofs of ongoing relationship, and one folder for the printed chats. WOW, ITS USELESS. they dont even look any of it. hahaha. its so heavy. they just focus to the forms and requirements. but its ok. im just being prepared. who knows, if they will ask some proof or no. right. so its better to be prepared also. thank u for reading. good luck!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
