POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2010-08-04
Embassy Review : I went to first counter after getting off the plane. He took the passport and the envelope from me. He teared the envelope, checked the documents in it, checked things in computer and passport and finally made the stamp on my passport and wrote the same number on the document.

He asked just simple question like who is with you and what is the relation. He then made a file for me and send me to a hall. The guys from the department of homeland security were there. They took my passport and did some computer checking. They did not ask any question.

After that i was being sent to two more counters called Area 3 and Area 4. The guys at area 4 will take all the documents from you, took signature and finger print of you. and that is it.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
