Event Description

Embassy Review : Marina had her interview today. She arrived at 9:15AM and there was a couple of lines for different times. A guard came out and asked who had a Fiancee or Immigrant visa and then moved them to the front of the line. She was let inside and 10 minutes later gave all the paper work to the lady behind the glass. There was only one officer doing interviews and 3 hours passed before they called a second officer. There was a girl who got denied because she was in the US illegally before, so she got a 10 year ban. Also another lady got denied because she did her medical in her city and not in Kiev. And a man got denied because there was something with his passport. Marina's interview was about 5 minutes, but they did ask many questions. They asked when did I come to see her and when did I leave, that we decided to get married only after a week together, where I was born, when did a leave, where to I work, then he looked at our records, asked what phone number I called, my email address, my skype name, then he gave her the pink slip and to pay at the FedEx window. Finally it is over and she will be here first week of March
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
