Embassy Review : 1 HOUR. .START TO FINISH!! We rented an apartment in walking distance of the Embassy. We went to procredit bank at 8:30, NO LINE!! We walked right in, and right back out! Our embassy appointment was at 9:30 and we got there (early) at 9:00.Right away, they lead us to a "special place" to store my purse. There was a long line BUT, they looked at my passport and ushered us right to the front of the line, (much to the dismay of the others waiting in line because it was 25 degrees outside). We sat down at 9:20. At 10:00 they called his name! I went with him to the interview. The interviewer was American! He asked Vladimir if he wanted to speak in english or russian. Scared to death, of course Vlad said russian. He just pointed out that one of our documents had not been translated to english and told us to go the the translation service next door and, drop it off at the guard house. Then,he just gave us the pink paper. I asked. . .is that all?? Are we approved? He laughed and said, yes and good luck to you both. We were eating breakfast at 10:30! UNBELIEVABLE! If you have all of your documents, NO PROBLEM!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
