Hi there! My fiancé is from Norway and interviewing in Sweden as well! It’s great to finally see someone with the same situation and who is only ten days ahead of us!! We can follow and update each other along the way if you’d like! ?
Hi there! It's great to connect via this platform. Let's definitely keep the contact. Unfortunately we received "Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent" today. We have a lawyer and we are disappointed for having received such a status since we have already submitted the eligibility requirements to USCIS. My Fiancée (petitioner) is pregnant and USCIS knows about it. I don't know what could be a stronger evidence than pregnancy! Anyhow, we need to receive the notice in mail and see what we need to provide.
Sounds good! I’m sorry that has happened but I’m sure you will get the letter soon telling you exactly what they need and others on this website have tons of experience so they will be able to help with advice if you need any assistance with it! Let us know! I hope the best for you both ??
Thank you @TheaHallo. I'll definitely keep you and your fiancé posted about our progress, and will follow your timeline too. It looks like that you will receive an answer by end of september too. It took us 8 months to hear back from USCIS with RFE. We cross our fingers. I'm hoping for a direct approval for you guys.
Thank you! ?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
