Hello Michael and Sabrine! Thank you so much for sharing your experience on here. I'm Dylan (American) and my wife, Emna (Tunisian) and I are going through this same process and have been having a hard time estimating timelines. I have a couple questions if you don't mind, over some terms used in your timeline:
Send IV Package : 2025-07-23 -- was this meaning that your final documents were sent through the portal online? or is this the date of receiving the notice stating that your case was "documentarily complete?"
Receive Instruction and Interview appointment letter : 2025-09-26 -- were you given a date for your interview on this date? or was this something else?
and for these below, I'm not sure what any of them are referring to. Any explanation would be great:
Case Completed at NVC : 2025-08-22
NVC Left : 2025-09-26
Consulate Received : 2025-09-30
I understand I am asking a lot, but I appreciate your willingness to share your timeline, and hope that you're able to shine some light on these for me, so I can try to project when our interview might come. FYI, our IV process, through the portal, became documentarily complete on September 20th, and we are waiting for an interview date still.
Thank you in advance, and if you can't reply here, my email is dylpyckle100@gmail.com
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
