Very easy and quick entry. CBP took passport and packet, told when the visa expired, and waved through. No questions or debate. |

The wait was longer than the interview. He asked us some basic questions and we were approved in less than half an hour. |

Timeline Comments: 4Hi there! Just applied a week later after you and also in Boston, your case seems to fo pretty fast! Congrats for that!
Out of curiosity, you got RFE the same day as NOA1?
And also, did you already have SSN when applied?
Hi Mario and Maria,
Yes we got RFE the same day, but it’s because the birth certificate wasn’t translated as they expected. While it was the same one we sent the k1 visa, they didn’t accept it for the AOS. We translated and sent it back via the USCIS account and will hope it’s what they expect.
All the paperwork has been sent with a social security number, so we don’t need to wait for them to send one.
Ohh the birth certificate thing is odd, I hope that does not happen to us, we did not have SSN and checked the box, maybe that could delay us, who knows it seems to vary by case quite a lot. Anyways, good luck with that!
Omg I was gollowing gmthis, congrats!!!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
