POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-05-24
Embassy Review : Loterly's plane landed about 520pm (40 minutes ahead of schedule). She was able to text me from the plane with her Globe roaming service that she got in Manila. It took almost 20 minutes before she was off the plane (it was very crowded) around 6pm. Her arrival terminal was #8 for American Airlines. She went to the visitor lane and her visa processing with the immigration officer (he was very nice) was not more then 2 minutes, she received the EAD stamp after another 2 minutes and then picked up her baggage. Remember to have 3 one dollar bills for a luggage cart if you will need one. She was waved right through customs and met me (flowers and balloon in hand) in the waiting area by 615pm. Overall a very good experience and very quick.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
