Local US CIS Office Review: Kansas City MO
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : June 27, 2015
Embassy Review : I'll start with saying that the office moved to a new location about 6 months ago.so if you haven't been there in a while, make sure you don't drive to the old location (which is a deportation facility now) especially if you are short on time. They are along i29 now and can be seen from the interstate. The new office is nice, bright and huge.
They have the friendliest staff. Starting from security. Every one is very helpful, respectful and nice. I had only been to the uscis office for biometrics before (3 times) and had my first interview 2 days ago. The officer i had was a young guy. He was not asking any questions other than the questions from the application and of course the test. Oh he also asked how to pronounce "Belarusian" right lol He was very nice and friendly. No intimidation whatsoever like i hear other offices have. I spent 25 minutes all togetherin the building, from the m9ment i entered the office to the moment i left.
Very positive experience!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
