Congrats. Was packet 3 an email or a letter sent to the sponsor?

It was an email sent to the sponsor.

Thanks.

Sorry another question: I see that from the time the embassy received your packet to getting the email from the embassy, it took three days. Did you have to expedite your case for them to process it that quickly?

No I didn't have to expedite but sometimes the Nairobi Embassy takes long to send the parker 3 email, even after receiving the packet . My advice is if your status at CEAC reads READY, Please proceed to fill the ds160 and set up an account with them and proceed to pay for the interview. Note: You won't be able to pay unless there are available interview slots so you have to check on the site until something comes up. So as you wait for the email, do this. As it is also currently a hustle to get interview dates since they post one day in like 3 weeks...at their own schedule.

Much appreciated, thank you and all the best at the interview!

Hey again, hopefully your interview went well! Quick question if you don't mind: Has your case number changed from say KMPxxxxxxxxxx to NRBxxxxxxxxxx after the case was moved to Nairobi for the visa processing?

Yes please case number changes to NRB.......after the NVC stage...

Thank you! Although NVC sent our packet two weeks after it sent yours, we are still waiting for the email from the embassy so we can apply. So it doesn't make sense the big delay but all the best to you and your partner!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
