Event Description

Embassy Review : My fiancé went to his interview today at 8 am and got approved! He had to hand his civil documents, passport, passport photos, I-134, and bank statement to a Lebanese woman at the front window. She asked him several questions, like if he's traveled outside of Lebanon before and if he has my phone number memorized. Then after fingerprinting he had to wait TWO HOURS before going into the actual interview. He said the consular officer was very respectful and kind. She asked him general questions about himself, myself, and our relationship. Nothing difficult to answer if it is a valid relationship Then she said he was approved and kept his passport. Hoping to see him here soon!

Congrats!! When were you DQ'ed?

Thank you! We did fiancé visa, so we did not need to submit documents to NVC and get DQ'd. We got our case number from NVC on March 27th and the embassy received our application April 4th.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
