Hello. I was looking at your dates and I'm confused by them. You sent your DS-261 to the NVC in August 2022, and it says the case was NVC complete on Dec 2022. But you don't have a date for when you received the interview letter or an interview date shown? Does that mean your case was rejected by the NVC and that is why it says complete? ... or are you still waiting for an interview? Thanks!

We are still waiting for an interview.

Thanks for the reply! Hope it comes soon for you!

Hi again. Is the 12-09-2022 date you state above when you submitted to the NVC, or when you became Documentarily Qualified? This website unfortunately has way too many confusing date fields on it, and in my opinion is missing one of the most important dates of when you are DQ'ed - as that is when the real NVC wait starts. Talking with several others on here it appears you get the interview letter about 11 - 12 months after being DQ'ed. But I know some have submitted to the NVC and it took 6 - 12 months just to become DQ'ed because of additional paperwork requests from the NVC.

Hi! Our DQ is 12/9/22. Have you joined any Facebook group. The appointments are coming in faster now. We believe we will be getting an email in October for an appointment in December. That's the trend right now

I unfortunately am not on Facebook but thank you for passing that along as it is great news. We were DQ'ed in Jan 2023, so a month later than yours. I have my fingers crossed you are right about getting the interview letter email in October for a December appointment. If we get the interview letter before December I think that'd be the best Christmas present I could ever get! ;-)

New appointments coming out this week, typically notification emails are sent on the 14th of every month. Hopefully your email comes next month for your appointment. We are on pins and needles for this Thursday. ??

I hear you! My fingers are crossed you get your notification this week!! I have tried to be as patient as possible the last few years while waiting, but as it gets closer I am definitely suffering from some extra emotional anxiety! ;-) I have noticed the actual interview date be anywhere from 30 to 60 days after the date of the interview letter. So if you don't get it this week, then hopefully it comes next 14th ... with the interview closer to 30 days from the letter's date! But still hoping yours comes this week!!!

Yeah, I definitely am feeling more anxiety as we get closer to getting an interview date. Wishing you lots of peace and positive vibes! We're almost there ?

Hey again. I was just wondering if you'd heard anything. I finally joined Facebook despite saying I never would - but I wanted to see what you were talking about there. I joined two groups that are IR1/CR1 for Ciudad Juarez specifically. From what I'm seeing a lot of people documentarily qualified Nov 2022 now have their interview letters with interviews in Nov 2023. So hopefully that means your letter comes this month or Nov 2023 with an interview date in Dec 2023. I'm not sure if the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays will delay matters a little but hopefully not.

Good morning! We just received our appt email yesterday for Dec 1st! The best birthday present ever! You should join Citados al consulado en Cd Juárez group, if you haven’t already. It’s the one that has the most posts and a lot of people do help answer questions. I hope you guys get your email next month!
Jeff & Daniel on 2023-10-25 said:
Awesome! Very excited for you both! Congratulations - and Happy Birthday! Thank you for sharing!

I just applied to join the Facebook group you suggested. I'm also in the groups "IR/CR1 Cita Consular en Ciudad Juarez" and the group "CR1/IR1 Ciudad Juarez". I just saw a couple today on it DQed 12/20/22 that just got their interview for 12/06/23 so we hopefully get our letter next month. So excited as it seems like after years of waiting I've becoming uncomfortably numb ;-)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
