I had my appointment for the visa before I had my doctors appointment - but everything went well anyway, I just had to send in the passport to them after and I had the doctor send all the papers to the embassy. I received my visa just a few days after I sent it. |

At the POE everything went smoothly. They had me go into "Secondary inspection" where they took the brown envelope - ripped it appart and went through it I guess. Then I was good to go.. they kept everything that was in the brown envlope and said that when I file for AOS the USCIS will request it from them. |

I had this scrap book prepared for the interview to show proof that we had met before.. I had to wait for about 30-60 minutes when I got in there. But the "interview" was over in 10 and they didn't give me any trouble... everything went smoothly and I didn't get a chance to show off my scrap book that I had spend hours and hours on . I even had my doctors appointment the day after the interview and they just had me send in all the documents. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
