Hello, when did you get you packet 4 to schedule your visa interview?
blank avatar Kcpaty on 2023-06-05 said:
There wasn't a packet 4. After my fiance paid the visa fee he checked the portal 2 days later. He had issues scheduling online. So he had to call the embassy to make an inquiry. So they assisted they told him to recheck portal up to 3 times a day. And 2 days later he was able to secure an appointment.

Pls when was that because I paid for my visa a week ago and also having issues scheduling online. It asked if my immigrant case number starts from 2019 ; 2020 ; 2021

It's on my timeline under packet 3. We had the same issue as well as another couple. When you hit yes then it appears with schedule times if available. If you're still having issues it is best to call the embassy.

Congratulations on receiving your visa! Did you receive a 221(g) in the interview? If so, how long did it take to receive the visa after providing the necessary documents?
blank avatar Kcpaty on 2023-08-04 said:
Hi NH10. We did get a 221(g). Our interview was 7/11 and we received visa(in hand) 7/31.
blank avatar NH10 on 2023-08-04 said:
Do you remember when you submitted the additional documents to the consulate? We received a 221(g) and are just now able to submit the document so just trying to determine how long to expect before getting the visa.

We sent them the same day 7/11. Not sure what you are missing but everyone is different. Someone else waited minimum of 3 weeks. We were under 3 weeks. They say minimum 60 days up to 1 year. I hope you get it soon. I know the heartache and frustration too well.

Do you know what kinds of questions they asked your fiance in the interview?

Address where fiance lives. Type of work fiance does and plans for kids. Marriage date and proposal.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
