Consulate Review: Naples, Italy
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 23, 2023
Embassy Review : Great experience.

I arrived at the Consulate at 7.45 am and I have been let in at around 8.20 am. Everybody was nice and friendly.
First I have been asked to provide the evidence required on the packet3 and then they took my fingerprints.
Afterwards I have been called by the Consul, he was nice and straight to the point.
The question asked have been:

- where was your fiancé born?
- where does she live?
- have you ever been to the US?
- why haven’t you ever been to the US?
- have you ever been employed?
- what is her current occupation?
- do you have any wedding plans?

I left the Consulate at 9.10, everything was very fast. Later in the morning the status of the petition changed to “approved”
and then to “issued” on Friday. The Visa arrived at my address on the following Monday.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
