Comments : Easy process for us, even with our lawyer not showing up to the interview. The interview pulled out our stack of documentation and tossed it on the desk, saying "look at what I had to go through last night, you guys are approved and turned in more than enough information"

Local US CIS Office Review: Memphis TN
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : September 2, 2022
Embassy Review : We traveled from Nashville to our I-130/I-485 interview, roughly 4-5 months after filing our application. It was a quick process for us, even though our attorney failed to show up at our interview. We waited in the lobby of the Memphis office roughly 10-15 minutes before a kind gentleman came out and introduced himself. As we walked from the lobby into his office, we had small chat about other facets of life. When we sat down, he pulled out a huge file and tossed it onto the desk, making quite the thump. It was our file. We looked at each other for a moment, then he stated "look at what you made me review last night." Not sure where we were going with us, he immediately added "you guys are fine, you are approved....I just wanted to bring you in to chat." Our continued discussion more so related to what I did for a living, and our desire to the outdoor life. It was an extremely comfortable experience for us -- even though I know we were rather lucky to know the decision was made before we left.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
