How long did it take to get your DHL notification that your passport has been mailed from the time you got approved? Thank you!

@waitingfor10 It took 8 days from approval to receive the notification email. We actually picked up the passport with the stamped visa in person at the CAS office in Tijuana.

Do they do biometrics at medical or when they entered in otay?

@Kyle6811 The biometrics have to be completed before your interview appointment. The office where you complete it is called "ASC" (Applicant Service Center). There's one right next to the Juarez consulate, but you can also complete it in the ASC offices in other big cities in Mexico (such as Tijuana, Guadalara, Mexico, etc).
After you receive the email with your visa appointment, it takes 2-3 business days before you're able to book the biometrics appointment through this website: https://ais.usvisa-info.com (Make sure to select the Permanent/Immigrant Visa option).
Booking the appointment for biometrics is the first step on this website. However, you can complete the medical and biometrics appointments in any order. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CDJ-Ciudad-Juarez.html Hope it helps!

Ok thank you! Also wondering.. Can you share with us, which police certificate you used? I am reading that sometimes the online one from cdmx is accepted and sometimes they want the one from the state.

We’re in tij/San Diego too

@Kyle6811 We used the federal police certificate option available online. To find it, simply search for 'Constancia de Antecedentes Penales Federales' on Google and click the link that ends with gob.mx. There's no need to visit an office; you'll receive the PDF document in your email shortly after completing your payment. I recommend printing the document in color, as I did, and I had no issues in Juarez. We selected the option 'Trámite para visa ante Embajadas o Consulados' on the gob.mx website. Let me know if you have any other questions!

This is what we have as well. Titled “SECRETARÍA DE SEGURIDAD Y PROTECCIÓN CIUDADANA
PREVENCIÓN Y READAPTACIÓN SOCIAL”
I’d love the opportunity to talk if you’re open to it:). Shoot me a message if you’re willing.
Thanks for the heads up either way!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
