Consulate Review: Israel
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 14, 2023
Embassy Review : My fiancé had her interview today. She mentions that it was relatively easy and fast (15-20 minutes). Prior to the interview, she was greeted by a consular agent (gave her phone, all the necessary documents). She was asked a few questions (where we met, what year we met, location of first meeting). She briefly waited for a few minutes for the agent to review some information in a separate room and was approved. She was told her case status would appear as refused until her medical records were released to the embassy (originally was told by the clinic it would be a few days). Just be truthful and do not be afraid.
Rating : Very Good

Update: For anyone following. My fiancé's flight from Moscow to Tel Aviv on the 6th of November has been cancelled. The embassy in Jerusalem has cancelled all October interviews. November interviews are still to be determined.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
