Comments : Had my intial I-129F returned when someone at UCIS spilled their lunch on it...yep! Had to resend a fresh copy by Federal Express. Now six months later I get an RFE on the same package but the I-130 has been approved. The RFE stated I did not fill out a box and left it blank, I checked my copy of the orignal submission and found I filled everything out properly...sent a letter and filled out the RFE as additional insurance. RFE approved within three days. NVC received package sent me leter that all documents would be at the consulate in one week, one month later they finally released the documents to the consulate, in this month they would not tell me anything about what was happening, no timelines, no explanations. Now papers are at the consulate. Everything is now complete and the visa will be issued next week adn my wife will come to America in three weeks.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
