Hello if you have gotten approved and you filed the same time and are at the California service center drop a comment to let me know how many days it’s been for you before you got approved. We are still waiting it will be 10 months in the 22nd of this month February 2023 the California service center says 10 1/2 months so we will see. I tried to expedite got denied so we are waiting patiently. Also please if you’re from Nigeria please tell me the process when you got the medical exam what were alllllll the vaccines that you have to get before you come to USA. I really don’t want my husband to get that COVID vaccination I really hope we can pay someone to take like they gave him the vaccine but don’t. Just my American beliefs but hey what ever we have to do. Sorry if this offends anyone but it’s our choice. I’m certainly not going to stop the process based on him having to get the vaccine but we know that it’s is stupid to get it. And I don’t want my man getting that I don’t have it and i really wish it would be a choice. I had to get yellow fever and polio just to come to Africa I wish I didn’t get it but i was definitely going to see my husband so we have to do what we have to do. Please let me know what y’all did and what dr did y’all see and if they take bribes lol sorry just had to asks

Omg i finally got approved guys after 483 day! God is good. I found out that it is way better to have my husband come to the US a few days after our 2 year anniversary which is February 22 2024 so even when we get approved I will have him fly in after that date so he can get the 10 yr visa so we don’t have to deal with the crazy wait list for the I-751 look at the discussion under the title” Removing of conditions on Cr1” https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/806392-cr-1-status-removal/ This is what one of many people said : • Crazy Cat © 35,537 Posted August 6 Timeline Bottom Line: If you have been married for 2 vears (or longer) when the new immigrant enters the US via the spousal visa, he/she should be issued a 10 year Green Card. With a 10 year Green Card, you will avoid the dreaded Removal of Conditions (1-751). I would enter a day or 2 after the 2 year anniversary. Removal of Conditions is not a fun experience. You should avoid it if, at all, possible. So thank God I was so like getting impatient and filed 4 different expedite request for valid reasons, but they were all denied. I really believe that God does things for a reason and if we would’ve gotten approved earlier, he would’ve came in before the two-year anniversary and we would’ve been going through that waiting list one person said he waited 2 1/2 years. It was almost 44 months and it’s a money pit because you have to continue to keep extending the green card when it expires. Anyway, let me know if you guys have any more news. I really wanna know more about the vaccines because they have lifted everything when it comes to requiring a vaccine to come to US, but they still haven’t lifted people migrating to the US to not have to have the vaccine anyway let me know thank you and from my experience to you just keep patient and let the process do it thing. I just found out today that we’ve been approved on the 18th because I stopped looking for a while and I didn’t get any notification which they said that I would get a notification on my phone but what I’m gonna do is we’re going to pay for everything right away he’s going to get everything done and once he gets his interview even if it’s before February I think the visa expires in a year so I think they would have a year to fly to US and in our case we’re right around the corner from our anniversary so THANK GOD!!!

@val2215 congratulations love ?? I’m super excited it been a loooooong time waiting for us and I can’t wait to tell him tomorrow because he sleep and I can’t wait to tell him I’m gonna think of a cool way to say it to him because we’ve been practicing how we would tell each other that we’ve gotten approved so now that it’s finally here I’m just like I can’t wait to tell him but I’m gonna say it in an awesome way. I just got to figure it out but I don’t think I will be able to sleep tonight because we are so freaking happy about this. I know my husband is gonna be so happy and I’m so happy I was actually about to get another plane out there but I was kind of like hesitant because I was thinking we were going to get approved right away and then I spend money to go there when that money could be safe for everything else that we have going on but it’s been along time since I’ve seen my husband. I see him every day on FaceTime but it’s been since October last year, so I cannot wait to see him

We are now DQ’ed Thank God ??? Now we wait for the appointment letter. One thing that I did wrong that had them send me to request after I submitted all of my proof of income documents and tax returns is I’m thinking that my tax returns have my 1099 and my W-2 attached to my form that my tax CPA prepared for me and that’s not the case they also want the physical document of the 1099 from your employer and the W-2 from your employer as well my case was different because I worked for myself, and I also worked for a company that had me on a W-2 last year this year I am 1099 so just make sure that you submit your 1099 actual form or your W-2 actual forms whatever your tax return states that you made that year. Make sure you submit the tax return the W-2 or the 1099 or both because when they request for me to send my 1099 for all of 2022 I submitted it and it took one week for them to respond then they sent another request for me to submit all of my W-2s for 2022 and that took a week for them to respond after I submitted that one so to avoid the extra delay which is one week add on just submit your tax forms I did not submit my tax transcript. I just did my tax form my income tax that my CPA prepared for me that you receive when he files it it is easy to get your tax transcript if you go to the IRS and you create an account you’ll be able to upload it from the portal and screenshot it and turn it into a PDF and submit it. But it’s not necessary because they said either either or you can submit a transcript or you can submit your tax forms your tax form if you were working for yourself your schedule see all of what you had your CPA or Tax agent for you whatever he gives you back is what you submit. So that’s my little two cents also, all of these things you can do for yourself because I almost thought I in the beginning I should have gotten a lawyer, but I did it all myself. I didn’t need no Lawyer it’s way more cheaper and it’s all self-explanatory so you don’t really need a lawyer for this if you have a difficult case, I would recommend having a lawyer, but then it still you can do it yourself, thank God now we just gonna have to wait until they give us the next step which is setting up a date for the interview and for him to go and do all of his medicals at the medical exam place that they chose. Anyway, I am living proof that patient is a virtue because it took 483 days for us just to get approved from Uscis so if you see this later on in life just know wait wait wait wait on God because it’s gonna be some waiting, but the best thing is to wait for your two year anniversary for your husband/wife to come to the US that way they can get the 10 year visa versus the two-year visa with conditions so wait until your two-year anniversary which ours is February 22, 2024 even though he may get his interview before that date after the interview when he gets approved, praise God! We will plan to leave 2 to 3 days after our anniversary date that way when he flies into US and he sees the officers when he lands in immigration, they can stamp his passport with a 10 year visa versus a two-year when you’re married under two years now our CR1 will change to an IR1. Which just simply means that we’ve been married over two years when we first applied we were married under two years. Anyway good luck God bless peace love and generational wealth to you and your family. God bless you all. This is a heck of a journey and it is an ongoing journey stay motivated stay close to your husband or wife life gives you ups and downs. Keep God first and you will get through it because it’s not for everyone it’s not easy that’s why they make you wait so long to let them know that you can stand the test time. It also let you know as well but they get approved when they come home that is truly your beginning of the test of time stay diligent. Stay loyal, Humble respect each other and grow and build that foundation and be successful. Keep God and everything is gonna make it. Have a plan a financial plan and a life plan, so that you guys are clear on the path of lease resistance the goal is a happily marriage for life and to give back to and set up our generations to come. This is the beginning of our story. It is what it is because we command it to be thank you very much bye-bye talk to you soon.

(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
