Hello, just wondering if you've been able to schedule an appointment with the Embassy in Ankara? In VisaJourney, it seems like the last interview for K1 applicants in Turkey was last December! I am the Petitioner and my fiance will also be going through the Ankara embassy. We received our NOA2 in August and are in the NVC stage.
blank avatar Scholastic on 2022-09-20 said:
No we didn’t receive any information from the embassy yet about scheduling the appointment. The embassy is supposed to contact or send a mail to the fiancé.

@nrguy I have the same concerns. I am unable to locate anyone online that has had an interview recently in Turkey and am becoming increasingly worried about this. How is it possible to not complete any interviews for so long?

Hi, congrats on scheduling your interview. We are also processing through the Ankara embassy and waiting for Packet 3. I noticed your interview date is about 6-7 weeks after the packet 3. That seems like a more than average wait time to me. Was that the earliest available date? Thanks.
blank avatar Scholastic on 2022-10-18 said:
Yes that was the earliest available - middle of November.

Congrats on your approval! How was it?

We had it yesterday (after it was re-scheduled) and it was quite easy and fast and no waiting at all. But now wondering how long it takes before I can get the passport back and make the plane ticket. Any ideas on that? :D

No idea, our interview is on December 5th. We just rescheduled from January 24th

Hi, did you receive your passport from the embassy?
blank avatar Scholastic on 2022-11-21 said:
Yes received it within 2 days :)

Awesome! We were wondering how long it would take to receive. Are you located in Ankara, or somewhere else?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
