Event Description
Review Date : December 24, 2024
Embassy Review : Interview was set for 6:30 and we had booked an Airbnb nearby, so we walked there (7 minutes) and there were a few dozen people in different lines depending on the time of the appointment. As expected, I (petitioner), was unable to go with her and waited with others outside on the side of the road. I went on a 1hr walk along the boardwalk and then waited around the area until 10:30-ish.

The interview went well (four typical questions listed by others here: how did you meet your husband, has he met your parents, etc). We had all the original docs, pics, etc, but stupidly kept my original divorve decree in another folder, so she was told she was approved, pending us sending them the original divorce decree and her passport via LBC courier.

We now realize she was not given specific instructions on which department/officer to send it to, so we'll have to wait and call them on Thursday (today's 12/24 and it's Christmas tomorrow.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
