Comments : LAX, the agent didn't know anything about the K-3 visa, he gave all the documents back to my husband, my husband had to tell him what to do with the package, the agent then called his supervisor and in front of my husband the supervisor trained the agent in how this type of visa needed to be processed. LOL.. Thanks to VJ I was able to give the right instructions in advance to my husband; he knew what he'll go through at the airport.

Comments : I filled the I-765 papers for my husband's, I noticed I had use the wrong code 6 weeks after we filled and requested an Info pass, we went to the appointment and were told by the officer that the Chicago office will fix it for us, he told us not to worry about it, the same day in the afternoon I checked the e-mail and his card was ordered. Did the Info pass have something to do? Who knows, his file were never touch until the same day of the appointment.

Local US CIS Office Review: Los Angeles CA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : October 10, 2008
Embassy Review : It all went very smooth, the interviewer was a very nice Asian young lady, at first, she went thorough the application and verified all the information I had already provide in it, such as current address, mailing address, parents' names, E V E R Y thing, she went one by one on each question, when it came to my personal information she asked him to answer, not me, she asked him my b-date, if I was married before, anything you might think about, she asked us.
I didn't take my husband's last name, she asked me why, I answered and she was pleased with my respond. The last part, she asked for pictures, common accounts, I gave her my 401K where he's the beneficiary, life Insurance, Credit Card, joint Bank Account with both of our payroll deposits.
Make sure you had done the vaccinations, we didn't and our application was put in hold, which we didn't mind, we had been marry for more than 2 years, he has all the documents to work and travel out of the country, so the delay will not affect us the much.
If you're trying to delay your AOS to be right after the two years so you won't have to pay extra $$$ for the removal of Conditions, this might work, just make sure you know what you're doing.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
