2022-09-20 Interview was approved by the Consular Officer, kept the passport and was told to wait 1-2weeks to receive my visa, all docs are good, 2 white pamphlet, no 221g given. *tho I was asked on the pre-screening and the CO if I'm done with my medical, they didn't told me that they can't see it on their system. Upon reaching the Hotel, I called my husband to share the good news and check CEAC right away. Only to find out that my status is "REFUSED" our joy turns quickly into misery and that's how it all began!!! (at least we got to celebrate for a minute LOL)
2022-09-21 Sent an e-Mail to SLEC asking if they already forwarded my medical result to USEM because my status is refused after a successful interview.
2022-09-22 Received a reply from SLEC confirming that they already transmitted my medical report to the US Embassy on September 12, 2022, however the CO uses different software to view the result, maybe that is the issue why sent medical health case reports take sometime or delay before it can be viewed by their system / Sent Inquiry via Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form asking why my status is refused after a successful Interview (attached SLEC reply)
2022-09-23 Received a reply from IVIF saying that my visa is refused under 221g for document submission as they await for my medical report to be reflected in their system. (my hunch was right!!!)
2022-09-27 Sent Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form again asking the USEM to request a hard copy from SLEC as they are the only one who can make a request as per SLEC (petitioner) *no reply
>>>REFUSED Last Case Updated September 20-22-28-30<<<
2022-10-03 Sent Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form follow-up (petitioner)
2022-10-04 Received a reply from IVIF saying that they received the medical report on September 30 and referred the case to a CO and will notify the applicant once the review is completed.
2022-10-06 Sent Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form follow-up (petitioner) *no reply
2022-10-10 Sent an e-Mail to Congressman Frank Pallone and Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey asking for help to speed up the visa issuance.
2022-10-12 Sent Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form follow-up telling them that my medical will expire on December 7, 2022 and request for my case to be escalated (attached SLEC green slip with expiry date and immunization record) / I sent the inquiry around 10AM and when I checked my status at 6PM it's finally ISSUED
>>>>REFUSED Last Case Updated October 4-5-12<<<
>>>>ISSUED Last Case Updated October 12-13-14
2022-10-14 Received an e-mail from Manila IV Info about SSN and Green Card fee (petitioner and beneficiary)
THANK YOU LORD!!!

Embassy Review : They are all kind and friendly. From Ateng-Pinay on pre-screening (window 40), biometrics (window 50), Consular Officer (window 61) and specially to the last person who checked my Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form, GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! (except to the lady on Data Entry who was shouting at the staff and applicants causing more anxiousness!)
Rating : Very Good

Hi Joanna, happy new year! My husband is the petitioner, he's a US citizen. And I'm in the Philippines. We just filed last Dec17.

hi ayarasyetch! i was just looking at your timeline. it looks like you and I are in the same boat. my fiance is in the philippines also and I'm the petitioner. I have a pending k1 fiance visa petition and I filed in Jan 2022. Currently, there is a big backlog on k1 visa. will it be better if we just get married? it seems like you had a faster process vs the k1. please let me know when you can. Thanks

Hi Jay94545, our K1 has been approved and stuck at NVC since August of 2020. We don't have any news up to now. We just decided to get married and abandoned it because US Embassy in Manila was not prioritizing K1 since the pandemic started. Only those expedited cases had the chance to be interview. (Mostly had military fiance and with K2). I sent you a Message

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
