Hi, I was wondering if you had an update on your case. Any luck with having an interview scheduled? Wishing you the best of luck.

Hi Keith and Johnathan, No update since we were documentarily qualified. We have been spending most of our time in Mexico, as my wife cannot enter the US. We were confirmed last December (2022) and based on the Interview Backlog, I estimated that it would take at least 10-12 months for an interview to be scheduled. We are remaining positive and I hope you are doing the same!

Thanks so much for the response and update. Wishing you all the best. It’s definitely a long and hard process. I wish I could spend my time in Mexico until the process is completely, but I unfortunately cannot. Wishing you all the best of luck and a scheduled interview soon.

Fingers crossed for you that you get a letter in the next month or two, and have an interview no later than December! I read on a Facebook group for Ciudad Juarez that several IR1/ CR1 applicants who were documentarily qualified in Sep22 got their interview letters in August 2023 with Sep23 interview dates. Hope they stay consistent with this 12 month average .. or best it !

Hi. I was wondering if you had possibly gotten your interview letter yet? I've seen about 5 people on a Facebook group that were documentarily qualified in Dec22 that got their interview letter in Oct23 ... with the interview being scheduled for Dec23. So was wondering if you had received yours? Fingers crossed for you! Thanks!

Hi J&D! We have not heard anything as of today, but this is VERY encouraging news! What a Christmas present it would be to have our interview be scheduled for December 2023! We will keep you posted on any changes. What about your journey, are things moving along? Stay strong, we have been waiting for 2 years! Remember its only temporary!
Corneilius1 on 2023-10-17 said:
Jeff & Daniel, could you share a link to the FB group? I would like to join that group.

Hello all, sorry for the late reply, but we did receive notice of my wife's interview last month (Oct 2023). The interview is scheduled for the first week of December and we couldn't be more excited. My message to everyone is hang in there, it will happen! Thank you all for the support!

Congratulations! Very excited for you and to see that they are slowly but surely making progress! Sorry but I missed your earlier FB group request. It may not matter now but it is https://www.facebook.com/groups/1252831185487526/ Out of curiosity, what day of the month did you get the email notification of the interview? Was it Oct 24th? Trying to see if they issue them at a set time each month.

Hi Jeff & Daniel, we received the email notice in the middle of the night on Oct 24 (odd).

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
