Have you received packet 3 yet?

yes, April 3... same day I was able to select an interview date

I sent an inquiry to embassy they told us to be patient. They would be sending update soon. That was over 1 week ago. We'll good luck on your interview!

Based on your timeline, you’re in the next group. Find the k-1 Nigeria Facebook group for support.

I see you made a comment about "Based on your timeline, you're in the next group." How do you find that information about what groups are and when we should see our next update such as receiving a packet from the Nigeria consulate or Interview date?

Right @briank22 we've been waiting almost 1 month for notice from the consulate.

If you look on VJ, or look for Nigeria k-1 visa group on Facebook. My packet 3 came 10 minutes before they open the portal to select interview dates. It all comes at once. Last time portal opened (April 3) the two choices for dates were April 19 or May 10. I suspect the portal will open again mid May.

So you're saying we need to be checking for dates despite not having received Packet 3 like they indicated?

Absolutely. You can check twice within a 24 hr period without getting locked out. Join groups- they help all watch for portal to open.

What did you have an RFE for after submitting AOS?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
