Congrats on your visa approval! Was your case expedited and that is why it was transferred to the Embassy from NVC so quickly after you DQ'd?

Thank you so much. Yes, we had our case expedited last February and it was approved with conditions. So we had to wait for it to be DQ'd first. Then when we got DQ'd, we emailed NVC again to kinda remind them of it just in case they don't immediately send it to the embassy. We got a reply on the same day and status changed to in transit the following day, then case ready the day after. Then I started checking CGI for Interview dates.

Good to know! We're in the same boat with a conditional expedite and will have to do the same when we DQ hopefully next week. Thanks for the info. Congrats again!

Yeah do try to ask them immediately after getting DQ'd so you can be case ready asap and start the medical and get ID soon. I saw your timeline, yours got approved really fast by USCIS. Hope you hear from NVC soon!

Hello! Congratulations on the visa approval! How long after the interview date did it take before you were aware of the approval? Did the embassy email you to let you know?

Thank you! You get approved/refused/given 221g on the day of the interview. So you basically know on the same day. CEAC tracker changed to issued the following say. Once approved, they will get your passport and send it back with the visa. For that, it took 5 days, including weekends, before it got delivered to my house. You will get an email for the tracking number and then another email about uscis immigrant fee payment and SSN.

When it took 5 days to be delivered to you, how close are you to Manila? Are you on Luzon, if you don't mind me asking?
blank avatar KK&J on 2022-04-22 said:
Yes, I live in Metro Manila. You may refer to this for their delivery lead times just in case your live outside Metro Manila. I received this email after the embassy processed the passport for delivery (a day before I got mine delivered). Please see below delivery Lead time from today: HOME Deliveries/ LBC Branch Pick UPS 1.. Metro Manila – 1 to 2 working days 2. North Luzon – 2-3 working days 3. South Luzon – 2-3 working days 4. Visayas – 3-to 5 working days 5. Mindanao – 3-5 working days

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
