Hi Nan012221, Got my interview coming up and i have a question in need assistance. I received the regular e-mail from NVC scheduling the appointment and got another one from IV Accra also asking me to schedule an appointment. Should i ignore the second e-mail? Thanks
blank avatar PEbode on 2023-09-20 said:
The email with date and time on it with instructions is the one you need you also have to print it and take to the interview for proof of appointment , are they both the same day or different?
Slowpoke Antonio on 2023-09-20 said:
The second e-mail does not have a date. It just says i should schedule an appointment with UStraveldocs.com meanwhile the NVC mail has a date and time on it.
blank avatar PEbode on 2023-09-20 said:
Then I would go with the one with date and time because to schedule one on your own thru UStravel.docs.com is not easy and have to wait for them to allow you access to that and for an available date
Slowpoke Antonio on 2023-09-20 said:
thanks a mil. I will ignore it.
blank avatar PEbode on 2023-09-20 said:
Yeah because Ghana schedules there interview the only time you get to go thru portal is like where they need another interview and they send you the link saying for you to schedule available at this time or now it's tough also
Slowpoke Antonio on 2023-09-20 said:
Awesome. thanks

You guys are absolutely correct! My husband received an email June 12,2023 from NVC in regard to his visa interview. Ignore any phone calls you receive or anyone that portrays themselves as the NVC. In the email his set date and time was for august 9th 10am. After the interview he received his passport back a week later! I whole heartedly hope everyone who gets an appointment to keep it and make their appointment. Ghana is so backed up and it is hard getting in touch with anyone or even expediting a case. In our situation we were DQ’ed in July 2021 for our CR-1 since it has been 2 years our case was turned into IR-1

I also want to stress on make sure your information is in order and you have evidence to support. When my husband went he noticed and overheard a lot of people didn’t have the information they needed. Affidavit of support from family members, and pictures were a winner!!!

Congratulations on your approval, can I ask what your police report cost that you need for the interview thanks in advance
Slowpoke Antonio on 2023-10-05 said:
It cost about GHS450 for a 2-3 days as the normal process would take 1week+. I didn't want to risk it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
