Hey everyone, A little bit about my case. - I was a J1 student 2009-2013 (more on that later) - I got married in 03/16, filed 07/30, priority date 08/01 - Interview 11/29 - Case transferred to California (I moved in 2017) 02/2019 - Interview in San Jose 09/2019 - My wife's I130 Approved: 09/2019 - I485 denied 04/2020 (they said that I did not complete my 2 year home residency requirement, that I did 21/24 months) - I864 filed 07/2020 - I864 approved 03/2021 - NVC case created: 04/2021 - Documents submitted 08/2021 I've been tracking the nvc timeframe page every Monday since March 2021. From April to July 12th, the average between the date they were processing and the current date was 38 days. As of Oct 4th, they are processing documents recieved on July 18th, 78 days behind. Anyone gone through this? Meaning how long did it take for you to get your interview date? I reside in Ireland, has anyone had their application processed at the embassy in Dublin. I'm going mad because of this processing time; first it took me 3 months to get a police certificate from my home country, Haiti; that led to me submitting my documents in August, right when the processing time started shooting up to 40, 45, 48 days. Back in May, I was hoping I'd make it back to California to my wife before Thanksgiving, now I don't know when that's going to happen :( If anyone had their case processed in Dublin, please share your journey. Thanks a million

Oh hey! My husband is in San Jose also :) I am currently in London, almost a year into this process. We’re waiting for DQ, submitted in early September. Sounds like you had a super long process, you are so close to the end. Hang in there. I don’t know anything about Dublin embassy, is that where you will have your interview? I think you might be okay to travel for a Thanksgiving holiday, I’ve seen your post on NVC. If you have to wait another 2 months for review that will be enough time to make a short trip. I am thinking of doing the same.

ps if you have Facebook there is a really useful group called UK Spousal visa - UK applicants, tons of info there and you may be able to get some questions answered on it. Good luck!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
