Is your consulate located in Beirut or Armenia?
Jana7 on 2022-03-16 said:
It says Armenia but it will be Beirut! The NVC email said Beirut as well

Thank you for that! I was curious just because my beneficiary is also going to be interviewing in Beirut and I see we have similar timelines so I just wanted to get a general idea of time frames. Good luck to you!

Hi Jana7 and Tina Ant. My beneficiary is also going to be interviewing in Beirut. I'm following you both to see how long it will take to get an appointment (we filed in June 2021, so we still have some time before we get a NOA2). I hope it's a quick process for us all. Good luck to you both--I hope your fiances will be in the US soon!

So there is plenty of appointments available, when our packet arrived to Beirut we could’ve literally had an appointment that same week but had to wait to do medical (you can’t get your medical done until you have an appointment scheduled by the way) we did our interview and we’re approved but was placed in admin processing for further backgrounds checks etc. hopefully we won’t have to wait so long! And hope y’all get your approval soon!

Thank you for your input, that definitely relieves some of my anxiety! My case is now at NVC, waiting for it to transfer to Beirut. Good luck to you all and hopefully we all get to be reunited with our fiancés soon!

That’s very helpful information thank you! Congratulations on your approval! It sounds like maybe this is a routine step and hopefully will be quick. I hope it will go smoothly for you both and I’m excited your fiancés will get to be here soon!
Jana7 on 2022-04-09 said:
Yes they wanted him to fill a 15 year history after the interview and we sent it back to them and now we just wait! But after the NVC step which isn’t long it self then it should hopefully be fast! Hopefully we will get reunited with our fiancés in a few months! If y’all have any questions I’m more than happy to help :)

Hi Jana7! So sorry I didn't get a notification about your reply. Congratulations!! It sounds like everything was smooth once USCIS finished up :) Thank you so much for the information. I hope Tina Ant will also be done soon--I just checked their timeline and it looks like their packet left NVC which is great. It looks like we still may have a while to wait for USCIS step (our NOA1 is June 28). Did either of you think about attempting an expedite for Lebanon's situation? There are humanitarian and financial issues over there, but I'm just not sure if they would consider it urgent enough. It's tough seeing my fiance frustrated with their situation, but there's nothing I can do really :/
blank avatar Tina Ant on 2022-04-16 said:
Hello! Yes our packet left NVC and we are just waiting to hear from Beirut at this point. So exciting right now! So I didn’t try expediting for the simple fact that I just feel like it has to be a true emergency for them to actually look into expediting. I know there’s a ton of issues going on over there but I’m not sure if it’s enough to expedite. Believe me, it’s really hard seeing my fiancé and his family, as well as my family over there going through all of this. But hopefully in a couple of months you will get your NOA2 and all will be smooth sailing from there!
Jana7 on 2022-04-16 said:
Yes same I didn’t bother with the expedite because I heard even some Ukraine people were getting rejected so it’s hard to get that approved. As far for my case we’re hoping his visa will be issued this week or next! We’re still in admin processing but I’m hoping next month to fly out there and come back together! :) also I would email the embassy and ask for packet 3! That’s what I did and they emailed the next day. I know they were closed Friday because of Good Friday so hopefully they work Monday (maybe not because of Easter) or Tuesday!

That’s awesome Jana7! I wish you all the best and congratulations to you and your fiancé! It’s really exciting and although the wait is stressful, once you get to this point it makes it all worth it! I figured they wouldn’t reach out last week because of Easter, so I’m hoping to hear from them this week to schedule an interview! Which packet is the packet 3 though? I’m seeing all these people getting packets and I don’t really know what they are referring to

That is so exciting for you both! Good luck on the interview Tina Ant--hopefully both your fiances will be here soon! I agree with you both, I really don't think they'll see it as an emergency. It's really just a difficult lifestyle. I know, it is soooo difficult and it's hard to feel so helpless! I was in Lebanon last month visiting my fiance, and the situation is quite difficult. Enjoy your trip Jana7!! I'm so excited for you both and hoping we'll be joining you all soon :) I may bug you both with questions in a few months when we move to the next part haha
Jana7 on 2022-04-16 said:
Yes I’m happy to help if y’all have questions and if y’all want to private message me your email I can send you the packet 3 so you can see what they will ask! It’s the same and the website but more official haha wish you both luck!
blank avatar Optimist19 on 2022-04-16 said:
Thank you!! I'll send you a message about the packet 3! Good luck to you as well :)
blank avatar Tina Ant on 2022-04-27 said:
Hello everyone! So just to clarify Jana7, you went ahead and self- scheduled an interview correct? Or did the embassy set a date for you? Sorry I would private message but this website has me banned on certain parts of it for whatever reason LOL.
Jana7 on 2022-04-28 said:
Hi yes we scheduled the interview ourselves when we say that it was ready in the ceac website! You’ll do the booking of interview in 2 parts you’ll have to fill out the application and print the bank slip then go to the bank pay it- wait 24 hrs then you’ll be able to schedule the interview after you type the confirmation number from the bank slip! Make sure he keeps the bank slip with him and take to interview!
blank avatar Optimist19 on 2022-04-28 said:
Hi! Did your case leave NVC? That’s so exciting! I’m interested to know about the scheduling also. Hopefully Jana will see this soon. I’m still here praying they ever get to june 2021 filers 😂 they are still struggling with April 2021!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
