Hello. I was looking at your dates and I'm confused by them. It appears you sent your DS-261 to the NVC and paid the related bills in February 2022, but then had the dates missing for the next events of getting the interview letter and interview date ... but it also says the case was NVC complete on Jan 2023, which normally only happens after the interview letter is sent. Does that mean your case was rejected by the NVC for some reason, and that is why it says complete but is missing an interview date? Just trying to understand the process more for our own sanity. Thanks!

So sorry for the delay!!! I'm taking "case completed" to mean DQ. Our documents were qualified in January 2023. Now we are just waiting for the interview date. These field are confusing. They don't use the same language as the fb groups so I'm not sure about half if what they're asking which is why I left it blank.

Thanks for responding. I completely agree that the fields on here are confusing. Several seem unneeded, and big ones like the date you are DQ'ed are missing. We both have the same DQ month of Jan 2023 :-) From what I'm seeing on here, and especially on FaceBook, we will hopefully get our interview letter in November with a Jan 2024 interview date! Fingers crossed! :-)

Please let me know if y'all receive your letter and I'll do the same. I saw on fb someone who got DQ'd in February got a January date. That's so infuriating! Jumping around. Just go in order!

I saw the same and was equally disappointed. TheNVC site says they process them in the order you are documentarily qualified, so someone DQ'ed in Feb 2023 getting an appointment doesn't make a lot of sense when we haven't gotten ours yet :-( In a chat someone told me they assign cases to workers in large stacks, who then work through them at their own discretion. So the case worker may have just grabbed a Feb23 DQ'ed case from their assigned stack ... while that majority of their stack have Jan23 DQ dates. That might explain it but I honestly don't know :- I'll definitely keep you posted. Hopefully we both get our letters this month (November 2023) with interviews in Jan 2024! The anxiety is killing my sleep :-p
