Embassy Review : First let me tell you that you CAN bring your phone with you cause it was my big worry. They'll take it from you during security check and store it safely and give it back to you on your way out.

Arrived 5 mins prior to the appointment (don't do that haha), there was a line of people. But be aware that they're calling the times, so you might not need to join the line. Then two security check points, then got inside where embassy personnel took all needed forms, pics and directed me next. For me, at the first window they collected all needed documents, at the second window consul conducted my interview. I was "lucky" to catch the fire drill (safety training), so they actually had that exercise happening for about 30-40 mins while everyone inside was just waiting. But there's a low chance it'd happen to you too. All the personnel were very polite and friendly. Consulate asked general questions (CR-1) where you husband works, where do we intend to leave in US, how did we meet, what did we do (together) during the past year etc. They did not ask for any physical prove of our relationship (photos, flights etc), financial docs (taxes, bank statements etc) but I do recommend having everything with you just in case. All they needed was police certificate, one passport pic, marriage license, birth certificate, passport. BTW i saw that some people were sent to retake their photo (there's a kiosk in the embassy) not sure what was wrong with the one they brought but good to know that in case it's incorrect you don't need to worry and can retake it right there.

Passport will be returned to me as per consulate in 2-3 weeks. In my opinion that's a long wait, but it is what it is. Visa status changed to "Administrative processing" later the day of the interview and then to "Issued" next day. So now it's been "Issued" for over a week but hasn't been sent yet. Can't wait to receive it and see my US Visa, excited! Good luck to all of you who's gonna have their interview soon!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
