Event Description
Review Date : December 1, 2022
Embassy Review : I had a great experience overall. Everyone was very nice. The medical went smooth as well. The visa interview was about 5 minutes long. I felt over prepared because they only asked for certain documents and very few questions about my fiancé, which I found interesting. I was approved on the spot.
I give my experience a 10 out of 10

Aww thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind and encouraging response. So happy that you were finally approved.

So sad to see you haven't got approved yet. I never could've imagined it was going to take us this long. Let's hope we'll hear something soon. Good Luck.
RamiZest on 2022-06-11 said:
Rossella, we never even imagined. A whole year has almost gone by not because our application is going through a process, but actually just sitting on a desk, waiting to be looked at. It's outrageous! But now since it has been over 350 days, we are so much closer to that approval. Btw: USCIS has a goal by next year to complete I-129F Visas in 6 months. If that's the case, they would need to hurry up and push a bunch of applications through. Stay strong, my friend.
Hubba&Bubba on 2022-06-20 said:
Hi, thank you for your post on our page, we are following you guys and hope and pray yours will be adjusted any day here soon too. 1 year is a long tim to wait, but soon :)

Thanks and you're welcome. We've gotta encourage one another throughout this journey. Today marks 364 days for us and honestly I'm just praying that he will be here by Thanksgiving at the latest.

Hi, where is your application btw? Says it's both at Texas office and att the California one on your timeline info :) ours at California

It's at California Service Center. It's starts at Texas but then gets transfered to California.

Ok cool. Praying yours will be done soon!

Correction: My fiancé and I have been waiting 381 calender days since our I-129F application was received. That means that this month is our month to be approved. I'm convinced! Cheers everybody 🥂

YESSSSSSS! No more slow downs. I pray that things continue to go forward and even speed up. USCIS has a goal of processing K1 Visas in 6 months. In order to do that they would have to get ours out of the way. Anyways, I'm so ready. I need my man with me ❤️

Seen it taken like 1.5 months for some tog get The NVC case number.. kind of stressful to get all appointments scheduled within The 4 months its valid, when The NVC takes almost half of the Time... :( Praying for a fast case officer for everyone om here! :)
RamiZest on 2022-09-22 said:
Damn tired of all this waiting 😥
RamiZest on 2022-09-27 said:
Hey hey hey. Things are really happening, GUYS. I am over joyed 🤗😊🙏🏿Today I received an email from NVC: Dear Sir/Madam: The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems. Since your case is not in our systems yet, we cannot make updates. As soon as your case is in our systems, we will send a Welcome Letter and instructions. Then, if you still need help updating your case, you can contact us by using one of the methods listed on https://nvc.state.gov/ask.
Hubba&Bubba on 2022-09-28 said:
Oh Congrats! Not very cool that they took 1.5months to receive the petition from the USCIS though.. I heard it takes the NVC up to a month to process the cases before they ship it to the embassy in your country too... That leaves very little time left on the petition to set up appointment for medical and find a time for booking interview.. i heard the embassies are backed logged too so not many time slots. I'm very worried for our own case that it will expire before we get an appointment Do you know anyting about if they can prolong how long your I129F is valid for? Worst case scenario ia that we got all approved but then didn't have time enough to book interview before 129f expires... :(
RamiZest on 2022-09-28 said:
Wow you are much too worried @Hubba&Bubba Of course they will extend the expiration beyond 4 months. I've done a lot of research here and found out that many cases have been approved between 3 & 4 months after NOA 2. Im not worried about other cases that have taken longer. All is very well and we are very happy NVC received our case in 40 days, that is good. Many others are still waiting for NVC to receive their case. There are a lot of June cases that still have not yet been approved by USCIS. But that is not our story so how can we be worried. We are confident that we will have our interview by November 2022. Stay positive. It's all gonna be fine ❤️❤️
Hubba&Bubba on 2022-10-01 said:
Thank you for the kind words ❤️❤️☺️
blank avatar IRP on 2022-10-17 said:
wow you received the email from NVC. we didn’t receive it. until this week when i had to email them and ask . and then they mentioned that they received our case. and that was all. i guess it’s not yet in the system cause no case number yet. but hopefully we get it as soon as possible. good luck
RamiZest on 2022-10-17 said:
I did the same as you. I emailed them then they replied with the same message. Still waiting...
RamiZest on 2022-10-22 said:
Today marks another special day. We received our case number in an email ❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉🙌🏾😇🙌🏾🙌🏾
Hubba&Bubba on 2022-10-22 said:
Congratulations 🎉 how is it going with getting times for medical and interview for you guys? And what email did you guys email the NVC to get the case number? We have tried to email 2 times to the email on the approved petition letter, but it just get an auto-reply taking us to a link where you have to submit your question online instead. And then we never hear back. Is there any other email you guys are using? 🙏 Thank you for any advice. And happy for you guys getting the letter today!!
blank avatar Mbfernandes on 2022-10-23 said:
Does the American consulate in Italy allow you to schedule the interview now? Congratulations! Here for the embassy in Brazil we're only allowed to schedule when it's ready on ceac website
RamiZest on 2022-10-23 said:
Same. I heard that only the Embassy in the Philippines allows people to schedule their own interviews. We must wait... I pray our interview will be next month 🙏🏿
RamiZest on 2022-10-23 said:
Hubba&Bubba, we emailed Asknvc@state.gov. At the moment, we are still waiting for an Invoice ID and for our case to be sent to Naples Embassy. Once that happens, they will schedule our interview. We are approaching the finish line 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
blank avatar Dlet on 2022-10-26 said:
Did you email Asknvc@state.gov directly, or through the inquiry form on the NVC website? How long did it take for them to respond?
RamiZest on 2022-10-26 said:
I emailed them directly at that address. They responded in 10 days.
RamiZest on 2022-11-01 said:
What an exhausting process! You start this journey and you don't even know when it'll actually end. The application already waits a whole damn year before being touched for processing then it gets sent off to the middle man (NVC) they hold on to it and then eventually assign it a case number. The Italian Embassy has no backlog... At most, it's taking 24 days for an interview... Please hurry up!!!!!!!!! 💔😞😣😥😩
RamiZest on 2022-11-08 said:
NVC has had our petition 42 days.... Unbelievable 😭 Case number issued 16 days ago! Painful waiting game 😑
RamiZest on 2022-11-10 said:
***UPDATE*** November 8, 2022: Email received from NVC that our petition is on its way to Naples Embassy 😊😊 November 10, 2022: Consulate has received our Petition 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 It's go time, baby ☺️ SOOOOOOO EXCITED! IT'S ABOUT TIME!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
