Embassy Review : Interview was fast and easy. They only asked me how we met, what I plan to do in the US and if we know each others family. They told me I was approved that same moment and to expect to receive my visa in less than 2 weeks.
I got my visa at my home address on April 3rd.
Rating : Very Good

Hello, to schedule the interview, did you do it before sending package 3 or did you have to wait for the embassy to give you approval to schedule the interview? Were there many days available for appointments? Thank you
Marlor06 on 2023-03-21 said:
No, I had to wait until they sent me pkt 4 to do it! It took them 2 weeks to give me the ok to schedule it. After that I waited 2 more weeks to have any available dates for the interview, I kept checking everyday but there were no appointments available. When I was able to schedule it it was only on 28th 😊

Congratulations on your approval¡¡, it really gives a little peace to see time lines of Spain, can I ask you a couples questions? The birth certificate must be the one that goes with the apostille, or can it be electronic? Was it difficult to find dates for the interview? Do you get the results of the physical exam after a few days? Thank you very much, I know there are a lot of questions

Thank you so much! 1. The birth certificate can be the electronic one. 2. kind of. I was for more than 2 weeks checking all day to see if there were any appointments available. There was only 1 day available in the whole month. 3. I got the results after a few days. i went there to pick them up.

Would be you be able to upload a picture or list the specific requirements in Packet 3 for Spain? Once I get a bit further in the process, I’m going to start having my fiancé gather the necessary items to send them out as quickly as possible. Congratulations on the approval!

Hello Is it true that they ask for the medical history, for the medical exam? I am reading that it can take up to 3 months to get it.. thank you

¡Mil gracias!
Bri And Carlos on 2023-04-19 said:
Am I understanding that if the documents are in Spanish that they don’t need to be translated?
Marlor06 on 2023-05-04 said:
It is not mandatory with the K1 visa but it is more than advisable to bring your medical records and get all the vaccinations you are missing, because if you don't do it here then you will have to do it in the US and it will be much more expensive and more time consuming. I spent a year preparing and getting all the necessary vaccinations, then the doctor stamped and signed the paper with all the information and that is what I took to the medical exam. To prove that I had passed the chicken pox they did an antibody test at the same clinic.
Marlor06 on 2023-05-04 said:
It is not necessary to translate any document that is in Spanish or English, if it is in any other language it is necessary to translate :)
Bri And Carlos on 2023-12-15 said:
Did you guys submit the I-693 with the green card application? We’re confused if that’s necessary or not. He had his medical exam and all necessary vaccines already in Spain for the K1 visa. Thank you!

I submitted a photocopy of DS-3025, it’s the paper they give you in Spain after you complete your exam where it says what vaccines you got

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
