Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 19, 2010
Embassy Review : The interview itself was very short but we had to wait a little over two hours until our number was called only to find out we needed another police clearance. This delayed the visa about two weeks. We waited another hour to have our interview. Only two questions were ask at the interview, How did you meet and how long have you been married. We arrived at the embassy at 8:30am for a 9:00am appointment and finaly were finished about 1:30pm.
Rating : Good

POE Review: Philadelphia
Event Description
Entry Date : 2010-07-17
Embassy Review : Landed in the philadelphia airport at 12:30pm. At that time this was the only international flight arriving so there was no wait. The first immigration officer took my fingerprints and photos and then I was directed to go to a second officer who took my documents and directed me to pick up my luggage. he then ask me 4 questions. They were how did we meet and on what website,How often had we meet in person ,What is your work and where is your husband. This was actualy more questions then at the embassy interview.I was processed and out to the waiting area by 1:10 it was very fast and painless.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
