''This notice is to inform you that your case for an immigrant visa is documentarily complete at the National Visa Center (NVC) and has been since 01-Apr-2020. NVC has received all of the fees, forms and documents required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview. Your petition is awaiting an interview appointment. At this time, no further action is required. We appreciate your patience''

the whole process took almost 4 years... what a nightmare.

We're waiting for a F2A visa for my spouse too. Sitting approved at NVC since October 2020 waiting for interview in Bangkok. Spoke with NVC today, seems US consulate in Bangkok is not holding any spousal IR1, F2A interviews at this time. Judging from their website which hasn't been updated since end of April, it looks like they shut them down at that time? They are however still scheduling K1 which makes no sense as to why they shout down the other categories?

our case was approved at the NVC since March/April 2020... than covid hit.. and again in March 2021 we got a notification from the NVC that ijt was send to the embassy in Bangkok. i have contacted the embassy and they basically told me the same, that our F2A case isn't on ''their list'' yet. it wouldnt make sense they still schedule K1 visas.. we started our visa application over 1000 days ago .. send me a message and lets call one of these days?

Hey Johan, I noticed that a bunch of IR1's are getting DQ this year and have already had their interview. How's it going with you, did you get an interview date yet? Cheers - Rod

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
