Event Description
Review Date : January 27, 2023
Embassy Review : Our interview was scheduled to begin at 9:40 am and we arrived to the office a few minutes passed 9 o'clock. There were already lots of people in the waiting area. We signed in and was then told to wait for my name to be called. We waited for almost 2 hours before the IO came, called my name and greeted us. She also apologized for the long wait. We chatted a little while she walked us to her office, where she then instructed us where to sit. We were asked to say our names for record, sworn in and she then began her questions. She asked about how we met, where we live, if we share kids together what proof of cohabitation we have and so on. She then proceeded to ask me eligibility and security questions. The interview took about 45 minutes total and she told us that she can tell that our relationship is genuine but that our application needs further review before it can be adjudicated. It's been 2 months but our case still hasn't been adjudicated.
Harassment Level : Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
