Have you heard anything from your finance’ about the increasing rate of Covid in Monrovia? I checked out the embassy website and it kinda mentions it but also says that immigrant visa are still being issued tho...

Yeah he was telling me there is an increase but doesn't think there will be another lockdown again. I did check the website and they are still prioritizing Family-based visas which includes K-1. I think your fiance should be able to get an aapointment relatively quickly. There was another member from liberia whose fiance came over and she mentioned it was really fast once it was sent to the embassy.

Nope just had our case transferred to Freetown today! I am having surgery and tried to expedite but no luck so ended up transferring to Freetown. Any word on the LIberia Embassy opening or processing K1 visa? How’s your s going...

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that! I just got my NVC case number. Nothing from the embassy yet but it does appear they are backlogged. According to the report they have been doing only 10 a month which is not helpful. How did you transfer to Freetown?
