Embassy Review : Longest part was just waiting to be called up. We dropped pit documents off the day before. The next day the immigration office was a young girl who was very charismatic. She didn't really ask any questions she just looked at our photos and commented on how well put together our documents were. Then it was just random conversation about our countries and our experiences together in the photos. The interview was 10 minutes max. Very comfortable environment.
Rating : Very Good

Hi Dave, congratulations on you two being approved! I wanted to ask and make sure that it's just a waiting game while the case is sitting at NVC. I have heard from others that you have to do payments and recieve your welcome letter to have your case sent to the embassy of Mexico. If you could please clarify for me, thank you!

Thanks! Yes once the case is at NVC it's just a waiting game until Mexico city embassy sends you an email with the interview date and time (which was about 3 weeks from the date of the email). Only once you get the email with your interview date do you have to do anything or pay anything. I actually did not pay anything until the day before the interview. Good luck!

Ok, well I appreciate it. I've called NVC 3 times and they couldn't give me a straight answer! Thank you again! Hopefully we get an email soon then!😣

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
