Event Description

Embassy Review : Arrived to the embassy about 5 minutes early and was able to enter inside with no problem. Seemed to be about 10 total interviewed at our same hour. We were there for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. They gave us a number at arrival and then we waited to be called. First woman reviewed that we had turned in all documents from Packet 3 and asked for beneficiaries' medical exam. They returned the package to us after looking inside with a new seal on top and said not to open it. We then waited a bit more for the interview. Agent asked to speak with the beneficiary only - he asked my fiance how we met and how long he had been living in Madrid. He then called me to the window and asked where we were moving to and what I did for a living. He then told us we were approved and would receive the visa in 1-2 weeks!

Super chill, super nice and relaxed -- Only note is the embassy felt a bit different, I guess because they are still closed to the public? I'd been before for other papers and there were a lot more people being attended.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
