Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 1, 2023
Embassy Review : The interview itself was really not a big deal at all. everyone was very friendly and was joking around a lot. It seems like everyone working there really enjoys their job.
My only problem was just that they forgot to take my fingerprints, which nobody told me about. Just after I contacted them I got an answer that I needed to come back to Frankfurt to take the prints. That was really frustrating because it meant taking another day off of work, taking the train for 8 hours etc. They apologized so everything was fine at end and I got the Visa straight after taking the fingerprints, so I could go home having everything I needed to book my flight to the States.
Rating : Good

Hey, did you expedite your I-130? Asking for a friend. She’s from Germany as well. :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
