Standard questions are asked where/when you got married, if spouse was ever married before, who was at the wedding, how many kids your spouse has, where is you spouse located

DKL on 2022-03-19 said:No, but unless they specify your spouse doesn’t have to go. After NVC approved the interview date was given exactly 3 weeks and the interview date was 2 weeks after it was given. Initially I had to submit other documents to NVC, they first reviewed November 4th and then had to go to the back on the line again. But was approved February. Nvc’s timeline is pretty accurate.

DKL on 2022-04-04 said:Yes, once I got my interview date I had to call to make the appointment for the medical. I don’t think there is a limit on the number of people who come on a given day, I just called and the receptionist asked the date of the interview and she told me the best day to come. They upload the medical information to the embassy so no need to go back to collect it. They were people at the medical appointment who had their interviews scheduled for 2 days later.

DKL on 2022-04-15 said:After the interview I had to take it to DHL to take it back to the embassy and the embassy sent it back via DHL. Since I’m in Barbados it took about a week. If outside of Barbados it will be longer.

We will be in Barbados so the timing shouldn’t be much different than yours. We’re getting close so I’m getting hopeful!
DKL on 2022-04-15 said:That’s the procedure now. I went to DHL the next day and sent it off to them which was a Tuesday. I got it back the next Tuesday. Others I know who were just here for the interview left with their passports as well and sent them back here to the embassy. They received theirs in about 3 weeks.

DKL on 2022-05-04 said:I think they gave that quote to be on the safe side but there is a website you can check to see what vaccines are needed. I didnt even pay 700 bds for mine. I didnt have to get any vaccines just xray, blood test etc.
